Ubisoft has canceled Ghost Recon Frontline, Splinter Cell VR, and 2 more titles that were under development that they had not announced at the time of the cancelation.
While Splinter Cell VR and Ghost Recon Frontline were both spin off titles from their original main series releases, there is a rumor that at least one of the unannounced games was a prime title within one of Ubisofts larger series of games.
Ubisoft as of late has been making a large number of moves in the industry,
Some of them might appear to be reactions to the internal complaints from employees that have shredded the companies reputation. However, the spectre of Ubisoft's conintued plans towards NFT's and other Micro transaction elements seem to have also changed, and perhaps those two games were based or at least in some waycontinued support by microtrnasactions or NFT's.
Its too soon to say but keep an eye on them.
